Terms of Sale and Use

1. Who sells and who writes

The "Nadia's Charts" / "Le carte di Nadia" service is sold by Nadia Di Dio, sole proprietor, based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States, email nadia@nadiascharts.com, who writes the readings personally. Orders and payments are handled on her behalf by Tanya, her associate. In these terms "we" means Nadia and those who run the service for her.

2. What you buy

A personal astrological calculation and interpretation service: the birth chart (an 8-page PDF document, 9 pages when the year's passages are many), the weekly/monthly subscription, family charts, the solar return (the chart of the year from birthday to birthday, calculated for the city where you live: a 6-7-page PDF, separate from the birth chart; $49, $39 for those who already have the birth chart), the lunar return (the chart of the month from one return of the Moon to the next, calculated for the city where you live: a 5-page PDF; $29, $249 for twelve months delivered one a month), synastry (the couple chart: comparison of two natal charts, a 6-page PDF; $99) — as described on the prices page. In lunar returns and synastries the "in plain words" page is built from the rules of classical astrology and then re-read and corrected by Nadia. The $69 of the birth chart buys the complete document. The session with Nadia (45 minutes by video or phone) is not on sale for now: when it is, it will appear on the prices page. Calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris; the readings are written by hand by Nadia, person by person.

3. Prices

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and are those published on the site at the time of the order. There are no hidden costs: any taxes or fees due are shown before payment. We may change prices at any time; a change does not affect orders already confirmed or subscriptions already paid for the current period.

4. How an order works

You fill in the form on the site (or write to us by email) with the birth data.
Within 24 hours you receive an email confirming the data and the amount. Payment is by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay) through Stripe, which handles the payment on its own secure pages — we never see or keep your card details — or with Zelle to (201) 956-2283. Zelle requires a US bank account; card payment works from any country. Card payment is available for the documents indicated on the site: for the others, Zelle is used for now. The contract is formed with our confirmation: the form alone is not a commitment for you or for us.
Work starts when we receive the payment. The chart arrives by email within 48 working hours of payment (the session is scheduled with Nadia).

If the data you send is incomplete or doubtful (for example the birth time), we tell you before going ahead. If the time is unknown, the chart is cast for sunrise and marked as such: Ascendant and houses remain indicative.

5. "Your week" subscription

It costs $19 a month or $149 a year, paid in advance, and requires that you already have the birth chart. The family bulletin (3 to 6 people) costs $39 a month.
Every Monday you receive the week's transits on your chart; on the first of the month the updated chart.
You can cancel at any time by email: the cancellation takes effect from the period after the one already paid. The current period is not refunded.
If we substantially change the content or the price, we tell you at least 30 days in advance and you can cancel at no cost.

6. Refunds, cancellation and corrections

If you cancel before the work has started, we refund you in full.
The chart is personalised work, made to measure for you: once delivered it cannot be "returned" and is not refundable. If you live in the European Union: by ordering you expressly request that the work begin at once and acknowledge that, for personalised content and digital content already supplied, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c) and (m)).
If the chart contains an error of ours (data transcribed wrongly, typos), we correct it free of charge. If you find that the data you gave us was wrong (for example a different birth time), once within 30 days we redo the chart free of charge; after that, a redo is at half price.
If for a reason of ours we cannot deliver, we refund you in full.

7. What the charts are — and are not

Birth charts, transits, progressions and numerology are tools for personal reflection. They describe climates and tendencies according to the astrological tradition: they are not facts and not predictions. They are not, and do not replace, medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice: for health, money and legal matters consult a professional. The dates given are moments when a passage is astronomically exact; what you do with them depends on you alone.

For this reason we guarantee no outcome and we are not responsible for the decisions you take on the basis of the charts. In any case our liability towards you, for any reason connected with the service, is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence and except where the law of your country does not allow such a limit.

8. Use of the documents

The PDFs you receive are for your personal use (and your family's, for family charts): you may print them, keep them, share them with whom you like. You may not resell them, publish them as your own or use them to offer services to others. The texts, layout, logo and name of the service belong to Nadia Di Dio; the astronomical calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris library.

9. Your data

How we handle your birth data and contact details is explained in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. By ordering a chart for another person you declare that you have their permission; for minors the order must come from a parent or legal guardian.

10. Communications

All communications are by email, at the address you gave us, from the mailbox nadia@nadiascharts.com. Check your spam folder too: if you do not receive the confirmation within 24 hours, write to us.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the State of South Carolina (United States). If you are a consumer in the European Union, the mandatory protections of the country where you live remain in force and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country. Before any action, let us look for a friendly solution by email: we are a family, not a company, and we would rather talk.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the version and date are at the top of the page. Each order is governed by the terms published at that moment.
